Welcome to the Gator Attack Club
The Gator Attack Club was founded in 1992 for the purpose of promoting and supporting the University of Florida's Women's Volleyball program. What started as a small group of die-hard fans has, in just a few short years, grown into an enthusiastic following of several hundred people who enjoy the social activities, the friendships - and most of all - the opportunity to support a great volleyball team. You're invited to become part of the fun and excitement that is: Gator Volleyball!
What makes it so much fun to devote time and energy to support a volleyball team? It's easy! Just look at some of their accomplishments:
- Fifteen consecutive SEC Championships and Twelve SEC tournament titles
- Six NCAA Championship Final Four appearances, including runner-up in the 2003 Championship Match!
- Since 1990, finished every season ranked in the top 15 in the AVCA polls; highest ranking: #2 in 2003
- Nine AVCA All-Americans, two GTE Academic All-Americans, and numerous All-SEC athletic and academic honors
- Coach Mary Wise twice selected as AVCA National Coach of the Year and eight times as SEC Coach of the Year.
- Coach Wise was also the first women to ever coach in an NCAA Championship Match! (2003)
