Kisya Killingsworth named SEC Offensive Player of the Week

University of Florida sophomore middle blocker Kisya Killingsworth was honored as the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.
Killingsworth hit a whopping .535 during the weekend in helping Florida (16-1, 6-0) to a pair of 3-0 sweeps against Tennessee and South Carolina as the Gators remain the only undefeated squad in SEC play. Against the Gamecocks on Oct. 9, Killingsworth played the finest match of her career as she posted personal and match bests in kills (17), points (19.0) and hitting efficiency (.762), while also leading all players in blocks (4.0). Last week, Killingsworth averaged 4.50 kills, 1.67 blocks and 5.83 points per game - all significantly higher than her seasonal averages.
